CEO and Founder
Dr. Amin Sarang is a visionary leader, entrepreneur, and engineer whose journey spans continents, disciplines, and industries. With over two decades of experience driving innovation in civil engineering, real estate development, and value optimization, Dr. Sarang brings a rare blend of technical mastery and business insight to his role as CEO of DEVNEX Solutions Inc. Amin is a PhD in Civil Engineering from Sharif University of Technology and a candidate of Executive MBA from the Rotman School of Management at University of Toronto. In addition to his executive roles as CEO of DEVNEX Solutions and Trainex Hub, he is currently an Adjunct professor at York University and University of Waterloo too!
From leading $1.2B mega-projects across the Middle East and North America to pioneering tech-driven real estate startups in Canada, Dr. Sarang has consistently turned complex challenges into high-performing, scalable solutions. A lifelong educator and advocate for continuous improvement, Dr. Sarang has also trained more than 1,500 professionals in value engineering and real estate development, helping public and private sector clients realize significant savings and performance gains across major infrastructure and urban planning projects

Director
David Amborski is a Professor at Ryerson University’s School of Urban and Regional Planning, and a professional urban planner. He holds graduate degrees in both Urban and Regional Planning and Economics. He is the founding Director of the Centre for Urban Research and Land Development (CUR) and was the founding Academic Director of the City Building Institute, both at Ryerson University. His research and consulting work explore topics where urban planning interacts with economics including land and housing markets. His specific interests include the area of municipal finance, land development, housing, and land value capture tools.
Amborski has served as president of the Association of Canadian Urban Planning Programs, is an academic advisor to the National Executive Forum on Public Property and is a member of Lambda Alpha (Honourary Land Economics Society).
He has undertaken studies for the Federal, Provincial and a range of municipal governments. His recent consulting work includes an evaluation of the financing for the Smart Track financing for the City of Toronto, studying the building permit process across Canada for Infrastructure Canada, and he is currently working with MPAC on how to put a planning lens on the property tax assessment process.
At the international level, he has undertaken work for the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) World Bank, the Interamerican Development Bank, the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy, and several other organizations in Eastern Europe, Latin America, and Asia.

COO and Co-Founder
Asad is a dedicated leader in education and talent development with over two decades of experience establishing and managing educational institutions, private colleges, and business schools. He holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics with a specialization in language teaching and education, and has consistently focused his career on advancing learning experiences across diverse global contexts. Building on his academic foundation, Asad pursued further studies in Human Resources Management at the University of Toronto and is an active member of the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario. His professional journey spans Canada, Switzerland, Austria, France, the UAE, and Iran, where he has designed and implemented innovative educational programs that bridge pedagogy, leadership, and industry needs.
In addition to his academic and professional work, Asad has been instrumental in the ideation and development of education-focused startups in Canada and the Middle East. As the founder of Edifsol Education and Consulting and Bright Ones Academy in Toronto, and co-founder of Trainex Academy, he continues to merge education and entrepreneurship to deliver meaningful, future-oriented learning solutions.
